Welcome to the S.i.f.a.s facilities at the Stelvio Pass
Summer skiing
Summer skiing
The Stelvio Glacier is the largest summer skiing area in the Alps. It is open from May to November. Here, you can go summer skiing in a splendid high-altitude environment, surrounded by the imposing peaks of the Ortles-Cevedale Mountain Group. More than twenty km of slopes await you between an altitude of 2758 metres at the Pass and 3450 metres on Mount Cristallo, where great ski champions prepare for the next competitive season. The Stelvio Pass is not only about summer skiing: at the Stelvio Pass, great cycling events take place along the hairpin bends of the beautiful road built by Emperor Francis II of Austria
as well as hiking events in the unspoiled nature in the National Park. The Stelvio Pass is also typical for its routes and historical sites related to the events of the First World War, where remains of trenches and fortifications can still be seen. A holiday at the Stelvio Pass is a real treat for everyone. If you are looking for relaxation, you are spoilt for choice: there is no better place to look for quiet and peace than in the high mountains.
